Waifu Commander Deck

I am thinking about putting together a themed MTG waifu commander deck, mostly for casual games with friends. One thing I like about the idea is that you can keep the deck mechanically the same while giving all the cards a completely different look. It would be pretty cool to have the whole deck follow one consistent anime style. For those who have tried a MTG waifu proxy deck, did you buy a complete deck or put it together card by card? Also, do you prefer having one character/theme throughout the deck, or a mix of different characters?
