How Itching Problem Affects Skin Infections?

<p data-start="266" data-end="809">Itching is common among those who have dry skin, allergies, or underlying dermatological problems.  However, frequent scratching of itchy skin can damage the skin's defenses, leaving it open to bacterial or fungal infections.  Understanding how itching influences skin health is important in both preventing and treating infections effectively.</p><h3 data-start="811" data-end="830">Why Do We Itch?</h3><p data-start="832" data-end="963">Itching is the body’s natural response to irritation or inflammation in the skin.
